As a member of Independent Book Publishers Association, Tank & Ferry Entertainment had a presence at BookExpo America 2014 in June. Although we couldn't physically be there ourselves, The Liberty & Property Legends, Volumes 1 to 3 secured a place on the display shelves. We'd like to thank Terry Nathan and the team  at IBPA for making it happen.

New Look for The Legends

Busy times here at Tank & Ferry as we gear up for the release of the third volume in The Liberty & Property Legends series.

One of the projects has been to consult with marketing expert and author Vicki Morrison, Director of Strategic Solutions, who encouraged us to look at branding the series with new covers.

Since choosing a cover for the third volume was in the works, it seemed like the appropriate time to put the branding of the saga and author into effect.

The process has been a long and challenging one.

Creativity is a double-edged sword. The elation of crafting something from the flash of an idea to real substance is sorely tempered by the push of practicality.

Throw it on the page, doesn't that look wonderful must be poked and prodded into straight lines and even spaces.

Left brain and right brain become confused, at odds with one another.

But it has to be done. Decisions must be made. Letting go mode engaged. And it's finally accomplished!

Thank you to those brave souls who gave their thoughtful opinions along the way. All your input was noted and considered and appreciated.

How did our association with WaveCloud begin? Tank explains, "Terri and I first ran into WaveCloud at Book Expo America in New York in June 2012. We were exploring the Digital Zone on Day 2, after a pretty lackluster Day 1 (that's for another post, at another time!). About the Author

Author Ava Pashley is passionate about writing and about storytelling so perhaps it is fitting that her first mystery-romance is called The Storyteller. She writes under the Medicine Bow imprint for Tank & Ferry Entertainment. This is her first mystery-romance, set in 1890 with Wyoming's imprending statehood as its historical backdrop.
